New York, NY. – CanAm Enterprises today announced that Walter S. Gindin has been appointed as the firm’s General Counsel. Mr. Gindin, who joined CanAm in 2014, now oversees all EB-5 and corporate legal matters for the firm in his new role.
“For more than 35 years, CanAm Enterprises has set the standard of excellence for guiding EB-5 transactions from start to finish, leveraging in-house legal and underwriting experience and always putting our investors’ interests first,” said Tom Rosenfeld, President and CEO of CanAm Enterprises. “Walter has championed this in-house approach and brings a unique blend of institutional knowledge of CanAm’s operations and EB-5 immigration and corporate law matters to the General Counsel role,” Rosenfeld added.
Prior to joining CanAm, Mr. Gindin served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York. He then joined a full-service immigration law firm where his involvement with the EB-5 Program began.
“The strength of CanAm as a leader among EB-5 regional centers is in the talent and attention we devote to each and every investor,” Gindin said, adding that the skills of CanAm’s staff are integrated into the work behind every CanAm project and investment. “We build trust with our investors by managing all phases of the EB-5 process. We work closely with our investors to try to provide them the peace of mind they deserve,” he said.
“With the recent enactment of legislation renewing and modifying the EB-5 program, our investors can rely on CanAm to walk them through the changes and position them to make the most of the opportunities the EB-5 program offers,” Gindin added.
Mr. Gindin earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in economics from New York University. He earned his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he served as editor of the Iowa Law Review.
