Joan and her team, which includes Cuina Chen, Eric Wang, and Saad Tariq, bring decades of combined experience to the role, and it shows in their commitment and passion. From welcome calls to project updates to answering immigration-related questions, the Investor Relations team is there for investors through it all.

“Exactly,” Joan continues. “We have a welcome meeting right after our investors make their final investment with us. That introduces them to all of our systems, congratulates them on their investment, and from there it’s updating them on projects throughout the entire time. It’s helping to answer their immigration questions and making sure that they understand that.”

It’s not just about checking boxes or fulfilling minimum service standards. The CanAm team takes the time to get to know each investor and understand what this journey means to them. “Yes, and it’s not just about investment itself,” adds Cuina.

“We are here for all the milestones, getting to know each investor, understanding their dreams for their family, and helping them navigate the EB-5 process.”

Eric Wang recounts one particularly touching example: “One of the EB-5 investors from our Hawaii Airport project told me how much they appreciated not only getting their principal back but also attaining the unconditional green card.
