Senior Manager, Investment Due Diligence, Legal Affairs
Ann Marie Dalton is Senior Manager, Investment Due Diligence, for CanAm Enterprises. In this role, Ms. Dalton coordinates all day-to-day and strategic operations of CanAm’s Legal Affairs department. Ms. Dalton is responsible for a broad range of operational and regulatory support for the company. Ms. Dalton manages EB-5 project applications and regulatory, reporting, and compliance filings with USCIS on behalf of CanAm, and oversees the preparation and processing of EB-5-related petitions for clients and their immigration attorneys. As a key member of CanAm’s in-house immigration team, Ms. Dalton also prepares detailed instructional packets to help investors prepare for each step of the immigration process.
Ms. Dalton has extensive experience in improving day-to-day operations and managing and leading teams, with a background in data analysis, discovery production, litigation support, regulatory compliance, procurement, and information technology.
Prior to first joining CanAm in 2022 as Operations Manager for Legal Affairs, Ms. Dalton worked in management and legal affairs positions in both the public and private sectors. Her background includes serving as the Executive Coordinator of the Investigation & Trials Division of the New York City Department of Correction; Senior Paralegal for New York law firm Sclar Adler LLP; and as Supervising Paralegal for the Kings County District Attorney, in Brooklyn, NY.
Ms. Dalton earned her Business Law certification from Cornell University in 2023. She received both her Master of Arts Degree in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies from St. John’s University in NY, where she later served as an Adjunct Professor for Legal Studies and Research.
