This battery storage project is expanding an existing facility to increase its energy storage capability, enhancing grid reliability, and supporting California’s clean energy goals. The expansion will enable the facility to store energy for longer durations and deliver power when demand is highest. The project’s revenues are backed by long-term agreements, ensuring financial stability. EB-5 funding will help finance this critical infrastructure investment. An independent analysis demonstrated that the EB-5 project will create more than 660 jobs, which exceeds the combined job creation requirement for 44 investors.
